These Terms of Use govern access to and use of online courses, training materials, websites and related services provided by Lighthouse Analytix Pty Ltd (“Lighthouse Analytix”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing or enrolling in a course, or using our learning services, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Our services

Lighthouse Analytix provides online education and training in areas including artificial intelligence, analytics, finance, business technology and related professional skills.

Course descriptions, inclusions, pricing and access arrangements are displayed on the relevant course page at the time of purchase.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and login credentials.

Unless otherwise agreed by Lighthouse Analytix:

  • login credentials must not be shared;
  • course access must not be transferred or resold; and
  • you must provide accurate information when creating an account or making a purchase.

Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

3. Pricing and payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed for Australian customers are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Where GST applies to a taxable Australian sale, the displayed Australian consumer price is intended to be GST inclusive, unless clearly stated otherwise.

For example, an Australian GST-inclusive course price of A$199 contains approximately A$18.09 GST.

International customers may be presented with local currency or payment options where supported by our payment provider.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, bank fees, currency conversion charges or other charges that may apply to your transaction, except where Lighthouse Analytix or our payment provider is responsible for collecting them.

4. Course access

Course access begins after successful enrolment or payment, subject to the conditions stated on the relevant course page.

Where a course is sold with ongoing or no-expiry access, Lighthouse Analytix intends to provide continued access while the course and learning platform remain reasonably available.

We may update, improve or replace course materials over time.

5. Intellectual property

Course videos, presentations, templates, downloads, written materials, graphics, exercises and other learning content provided by Lighthouse Analytix are protected by intellectual property rights.

You may use course materials for your own personal or professional learning, subject to these Terms.

6. Educational information

Our courses are provided for education and professional development.

Course content does not constitute personalised financial, accounting, tax, legal or investment advice.

Examples, demonstrations and scenarios used in courses may be simplified for educational purposes. You should exercise professional judgement and obtain appropriate specialist advice when making decisions requiring professional advice.

7. AI-related training

Courses concerning artificial intelligence may demonstrate third-party AI products and services.

You remain responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs before relying on them for business, financial, professional or other important decisions.

8. Refunds and consumer rights

Refund requests will be assessed having regard to the circumstances of the purchase, the course supplied and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For Australian customers, rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission confirms that ordinary consumer rights apply to online purchases and businesses cannot remove applicable consumer guarantees simply through their website terms.
